Two generations of innovation
In the 1980’s Siegfried Grassinger was unwaveringly enthusiastic about the possibility of repairing chipped laminated windscreens so as to restore both their strength and clear visibility.
Using the tools which were available at the time, most of which were just prototypes, he developed them further to the point at which they were ready for production. Now Mr Grassinger was ready to set up his own company – TALON in Fürth in the Odenwald
1987
TALON Ltd is founded
1995
The company moves from Erich-Kästner-Straße to larger premises
in Ellenbach
1999
After graduating as an engineer, Dirk Grassinger joins the company.
2005
The company’s premises in Ellenbach become to small. A new building
in Fürth with an area of more than 1000 m² provides suitable premises
for offices, R&D, a laboratory, warehouse and production facilities.
2009
Displays and sales support materials supplement the range of products.
2010
In cooperation with manufacturers and wholesalers,special training in the
use and marketing of the products are offered on site to motorcar repair workshops .
2012
The range of products is extended to include laminated windscreen
removal tools.
